Let’s face it, university can be a bit overwhelming at times. Wouldn’t it be great to not only ask questions, but also hear from a senior student what they wish they had known when they were a freshman? In retrospect, I know I would have been a lot better off in my first year if I had a big brother or sister in Christ I could rely on to share things with. You’re invited to sign up for our “Freshman 15″…

What is it and why “15″? This is an opportunity for you to be paired up with an older student of the same gender, and if possible, from the same program, so you’ll have plenty to talk about. “15″ is the number of days between each meeting. Every couple weeks or so (each fortnight if you like), you meet to catch up on the things going on in your lives. You could go for coffee to get to know each other, email back and forth or just hang out. You could also be prayer partners, praying with or for each other. Let me tell you, it’s a powerful thing!
